On June 30, 2022 the Healthy Food Community of Practice conducted a virtual listening session via Zoom open to its members, their partners, and individuals from across the country to share their personal or community’s perspective on ending hunger and increasing healthy eating. The convening’s intent was to amplify the voices of those with lived experience of hunger by creating a space for organizations and community partners across the country, who may not have had other avenues, to lift up their community’s experiences. The findings from the listening session were sent to the White House to help inform the national strategy on Hunger, Nutrition, and Health.
Please see attached for the comprehensive report with the findings from the listening session, disaggregated by breakout groups of systemically marginalized identities.
